More on dessert later. We still hadn't eaten dinner, so no matter how much the cannolis and gelato called to us, we needed to settle down and eat some dinner.
After perusing their menu, we decided that we really needed to try the bruschetta with mozzarella, pesto, and proscuitto! Served cold, this bruschetta had the works! It was nice and hardy, and would have been perfect to share with a table of four.
Soon after, our meals arrived. We decided to try a little of the Italian fare, and a little of the continental. The pizzas, however, were very tempting!
The stuffed sole was filled with a mix of crab meat and spinach. The fish was very tender, and the buttery flavor was divine. The portion was enormous, with steamed vegetables on the side.
I was craving something comforting and creamy, and the portabello ravioli sounded too good to pass up. The pasta pillows were filled with minced portabello, and served with the most creamy, cheesy marscapone sauce. Even my husband, who is not a fan of mushrooms, loved this ravioli!
Check out that dessert counter! It was very tough to decide what we wanted, since everything looked delicious.
