Heat Bar and Kitchen on 3797 Park Boulevard is hosting a “Turn Up the Heat” summer fashion show and June 29, 2013 from noon-3 p.m., complete with plenty of food, fashion and music. Owner Sam Khyyam states, “The team bringing the Turn up the Heat Fashion Show to life is comprised of small business owners and residents hoping to show off the culture and personality of the area formerly known as the Egyptian District, which is enjoying a modern-day renaissance. It’s my hope that through this event, Heat Bar and Kitchen will contribute to the community’s growth and encourage residents to visit our shops, restaurants and other local businesses.”luncheon on
The fashion show will display current vintage retro looks by Edith Ernestine Fashion & Lifestyle and Cat Lewis’ Sew-Cal Designs with music compliments of The Matthews Co. Featured stylists include Morgan Freeman, Jeanelle Rosete and Carrie Gonzales.
The Heat Bar and Kitchen will provide a seasonally inspired, all natural lunch crafted from local fresh ingredients and a complimentary cocktail during the show.
