Del Mar’s Sea & Smoke, North’s Park’s Urban Solace and Solace & the Moonlight Lounge of Encinitas will host a festive New Year’s Eve celebration with a prix fixe menu and a champagne toast at all three locations. As is always the case at his restaurants, Chef Matt Gordon will offer a menu comprised of carefully selected, completely natural foods and cocktails. Guests are invited to enjoy live music and tasty entrées as they celebrate the last hours of 2013.
The three course prix fixe menu will consist of such items as: Butternut Squash Risotto with Goat Cheese and Chestnut-Pear Sauté; Seared Sockeye Salmon with Blackened Spices, Smoked Lentils, Trumpet Mushrooms and a Red Wine Butter Sauce; and Poire Belle Helene with Flourless Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream and Almond Meringue. In addition to the prix fixe menu, there will be a limited selection of supplemental menu items for an additional cost, as well as wine pairings to complement the meal. All three locations will offer multiple seating times, with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Sea & Smoke and Solace & the Moonlight Lounge will offer limited lounge menus, drink specials and open seating in addition to the restaurant seating times, and both will feature live music from 9 p.m. to midnight.
