I had the pleasure of visiting Banyan Kitchen + Cafe last Christmas, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate Mother's Day or get a special gift! 

Inspired by the travels of co-owners and husband-wife team, Tess and Jesse Brown, neighboring businesses and sister cafes Banyan Kitchen + Cafe and Chi Chocolat combine fresh cuisine and decadent chocolate made with fresh ingredients and the unique tastes and flavors from cultures all around the world—all at one spot.

Nestled in the heart of Liberty Station, Banyan Kitchen + Cafe is a restaurant and full-service catering company that offers fresh cuisine with vegan and organic options for exceptional culinary experiences for every occasion. Power couple Tess and Jesse create one-of-a-kind custom menus for each of their events and provide tastings to ensure perfection in every bite. An added bonus? The café space doubles as an event space, making for the perfect gathering place for social events.
Guests can enjoy light but decadent Dutch baby pancakes with fresh berries for brunch and lunch dishes like the Shaved Raw Salad with citrus vinaigrette pictured above. At Banyan Kitchen + Cafe’s new happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays, guests can indulge in Spanish wines paired with sister café Chi Chocolat’s artisan chocolates, made instore with only the finest high-quality bulk chocolate, fresh cream, herbs and spices. With no added preservatives, these sweet treats are packed with antioxidants and heart-healthy properties.
